Actual Weddings

One of many highlights of engaged on weddings is receiving pictures from purchasers from their marriage ceremony day. After months of communication engaged on the small print, it’s pleasant to see the cake within the context of the general type of what’s doubtless a joyous life occasion.

After covid adjustments of plan and postponements, purchasers Lauren and Graham lastly celebrated their  marriage ceremony in summer time 2021, with a complicated black tie affair in Dublin.  Lauren has an expert background in interiors, structure and design, working as Artistic Director of North Design.  It was unsurprising then that each element of their marriage ceremony was thought of, refined and trendy.  The day was exquisitely captured by gifted photographers Adam and Grace Photography and I’m honoured to obtain a few of their pictures to share.

The Marriage ceremony Reception

Lauren and Graham held their reception within the elegant and complex environment of the Merrion Hotel in Dublin metropolis centre. A group of fantastically restored Georgian townhouses, the structure and interiors of the high quality reception rooms on the Merrion made the right setting for the intimate dinner reception.

The Marriage ceremony Cake

Lauren and Graham had a transparent imaginative and prescient for his or her marriage ceremony cake: white, minimal and trendy. They selected a variation of a design from our portfolio which was completed in off-white chocolate ganache and adorned with delicate sails produced from edible wafer paper and highlighted with edible gold leaf.

The cake took pleasure of place within the drinks reception space the place visitors might view it instantly on arrival. Surrounded by mushy candlelight and plush florals and foliage, pictures of oldsters and grandparents marriage ceremony days added a private contact to the cake desk.

The cake flavour was two tiers of scrumptious Earl Gray Lavender Lemon. I like the idea of providing one flavour of your selecting to share with visitors!

And also you don’t usually get to see the opposite facet of the cake slicing picture however love this candid picture of visitors capturing the second! (A reminder of how a lot folks love a marriage cake I believe!).
